API Architect

We are urgently looking for an API Architect for one of our clients in Germany. Skills Required: • Proven track record in API designs and deliveries • Successful projects with API gateways • In depth knowledge of o REST o SOAP o JSON o XML o OAuth2 o OpenID Connect • Enterprise Architecture experience • Preferred: Apigee product knowledge/experience Responsibilities: Customer interaction: • Work with service owners on requirements and suitable approach for API exposure • Close interaction with Project Manager and Scrum Master Solution designs • Exploiting out of the box APIX Apigee platform features and common policies developed • Identifying need and proving development guidance for new common policies • Aligned E2E with API consuming and backend service providing parties • Abstract a proprietary backend authentication to an OAuth2 authentication exposure Implementation • Integrated membership of Agile Scrum delivery team • Create solution knowledge with developers • Provide implementation guidance incl. definition of common policies • Scope management: track scope and changes incl. budget/timeline impacts in collaboration with Product Owner and Scrum Team • Testing: Review test cases in collaboration with Scrum Team • Liaison: Keep off shore implementation team in sync with onshore team of customer/demand raiser • Solution ownerships: Create knowledge and understanding of solution amongst stakeholders Start: ASAP Duration: 6+ months Language: English If you are interested, please send your latest CV in a Word Document to us for immediate consideration
