APACHE KAFKA ENGINEER

One of Europe's market leading financial clients are urgently looking for an Apache Kafka Support Engineer to work in a multinational team in a progressive environment using cutting-edge technologies for a 1 years' contract in Amsterdam.

THE IDEAL APACHE KAFKA SUPPORT ENGINEER WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

- 3 years of experience with Apache Kafka and full life cycle of data streaming solutions
- Experience with installing and configuring Kafka connecters reading Oracle change logs
- Demonstrates general Oracle expertise (11g or higher)
- Datamodelling expertise is a plus
- Character attributes: mature, open, listener, assertive, good networker, respectful, has humour, problem solver
- Is comfortable being part of an agile Dev/OPS team
- Analytical skills proven through either experience or university degree in science/engineering
- Fluent English language skills
- Is comfortable doing 2nd & 3rd line support
- Java development skills are a plus
- Experienced in with continuous delivery, especially deployment and test automation
