Antenna Design Engineer Job

ANTENNA DESIGN ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in ROCHESTER, NEW YORK.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Broadband Antenna design, development and measurement
- RF Test Equipment
- Electromagnetic modelling and knowledge of NEC, HFSS or similar codes

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Design, construction, evaluation, test, and analysis of RF antenna systems from 2 MHz to 2.6 GHz.
- Generate/refine test plans, reports, briefings and other required documentation.
- Investigate EMI/EMC and collocation issues, identify solutions, and report findings effectively to responsible parties.
- Work shall primarily include antenna design and development activities which may include requirements analysis/development, design, and documentation
- Analysis, design, development, and measurements of broadband HF/VHF/UHF/L-band antennas for various platforms from hand-held to vehicles.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BSEE (MSEE/PhD) degree with a minimum of two (2+) years experience is required.
- Two (2+) years experience in electromagnetic modelling, with past experience in NEC, HFSS, ADS or other similar numerical codes.
- Two (2+) years experience with RF test equipment, such as, signal generation, network analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
- Good interpersonal and communications skills.
- Good problem solving, prioritization, planning skills, highly motivated and result focused.
- Due to the sensitive nature of our clients work, all candidates are required to have US Citizenship.
