Animal Care Specialist Job

ANIMAL CARE SPECIALIST I needed for a LONG TERM CONTRACT opportunity for Yoh's client, a world leader in the pharmaceutical industry, located in Framingham, MA.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Completes animal husbandry duties which includes feeding, watering, cage changing, sweeping and mopping of animal holding rooms for a variety of species.
- Evaluates animal health, reports abnormal conditions, monitors and provides simple clinical treatments as directed by a veterinarian, Laboratory Animal Program Manager or designee.
- Documents facility paperwork, as instructed, for all completed activities during the work day.
- Complete cage, rack, and equipment sanitation, sterilization and preparation.
- Ensures compliance with required regulations and follows company procedures and policies for animal care and research confidentiality.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- High school diploma or equivalent and zero to one (0 - 1) years of related experience required.
