Angularjs Technical Lead

Next Ventures are looking for an AngularJS Technical Lead to join a leading utilities company in Amsterdam.

As a technical lead you will play a central role in designing and implementing the client's new Online Sales and Self Service Portal for B2C customers. The client is in the middle of migrating towards a new Online Platform based on a REST-architecture in combination with pure Front End technologies. You will part of a cross-skilled team, working in a Scrum environment.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Contribute code to the development of the Sales Online Portal, through local builds and deployments as well as the CI/CD environments.
- Build modern HTML and JavaScript driven front-ends to achieve better quality, satisfy stakeholders and delight customers.
- Be an expert on JavaScript and Front End frameworks, collaborate with developers, business partners, architects, and other groups to identify technical and functional needs of systems.
- Contribute to the Agile team norms and coding standards, software design best practices, and architecture strategy.
- Challenge business requirements.
- Coach more junior developers to craft the solution so it's meets the requirements and design.
- Design and implement PoC's

QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:

- University or College of Higher Education degree in information technology, mathematics, engineering or related subjects (or comparable training).
- More than 4 years' experience with JavaScript.
- More than 3 years' experience with REST based architectures.
- A proven business acumen, and a profound interest in driving value-creating innovation
- Fluent written and spoken English and Dutch (mandatory)
- More than 5 years' experience with Scrum (Agile)
- Leadership skills and structured way of working.
- Experience with integrating (mobile) applications and Back End-systems.
