For our client, an Automotive Software Navigation company, we are currently hiring multiple Android / SW Security Engineers (f/m)

Location: Ulm

Start date: ASAP

Your Tasks

* Develop custom tool that fits to EB signing infrastructure / HSM
* Extend EB signing infrastructure to support QC Secure boot certificates
* Create and implement a solution for R&D that allows development without being blocked by security certificates Trusted Execution Environment: Integration, testing, verification, KeyStore test
* Android Key store: Support of OEM specific persistent keys (Not erased during factory reset)
* Security Patches integration
* Secure boot on bare metal and hypervisor
* Handover from Hypervisor to either Kernel or bootloader of Android partition (depending on solution to start the Android)
* Includes verification of DM Verity root hash
* If Android bootloader is not used, handover needs to support all Android security features usually handed over by the Android bootloader

Your Skills:

* Strong C know how
* Strong Android Security know-how (KeyStore, DM-Verity, disk-encryption, IPtables, SELinux...)
* Cryptography (RSA, ECC, X509, AES, TLS, OpenSSL, ...) knowledge
* Bootloader (ideally Little Kernel) development experience Trusted Execution Environment / ARM-TrustZone experience
* Virtualization / Hypervisor experience
* Secure Boot know-how
* Linux Kernel development experience
* Scripting skills like Linux shells, Python (or Perl)
* Experience in usage of version control tools, such as Git, Subversion
