Android Development Engineer

Description:
Scope of Responsibilities/knowledge/skills:
- A 4-year bachelor degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 2 years experience with C++ Object Oriented applications
- Minimum of 2 years experience with Android development
- Responsible for developing app/client software in a Client Server environment utilizing a defined Agile and iterative development process.
- Participate in the full design cycle from requirements-generation to box-level certification.
- Interface with internal and external engineering teams in order to generate, expand, and prioritize the engineering development requirements for product applications.
- Perform technical risk mitigation through research, modelling, simulation and/or prototyping.
- Must apply excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills towards solving problems in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and schedule individual work assignments
- Demonstrated ability to complete work assignments in accordance with defined quality objectives and deadlines
- Excellent Android programming skills
- Excellent programming skills in C/C++/C#/.Net
- Experience with developing network applications and network engineering is a plus
- Understanding of Real Time and Embedded environment concepts is a plus
