IT DEV ENGINEER ANDROID

For one of my globally leading banking clients we are urgently looking for a Senior Android Developer/Engineer for a 2 to 3 year project in Amsterdam.

The successful Senior Android Developer/Engineer will be specialized in the design and development of Android applications. You will have strong skills in development of native applications.

As an Engineer, you work in an all-round devops team with Dev, Ops, UX and business colleagues to develop and maintain my clients own app. Your main focus will be on Android but Back End (Java) or iOS experience is an advantage. The Back End and app have to be quality controlled by fully automated tests for which the team is responsible as well. My client works according to a SCRUM Agile development process releasing a new version of the app every month. They have a high bar and want an experienced developer with proven track record to raise it even further.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU WILL HAVE:
* Minimal Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or comparable (HBO opleiding)
* 5 or more years of Java development experience
* 3 or more years of native Android development experience
* You know how to write code that is maintainable and easy to test
* Familiar with concepts of MVP, dependency injection and modular software development.
* Following latest trends on Android; getting started with Kotlin.
* Comfortable working in international environment and cross-site team collaboration.
* Able to guide other developers if needed.
* ENGLISH AND/OR DUTCH SPEAKING AND WRITING
* Good social and communication skills
