Android Bluetooth Architect/Lead

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a BLUETOOTH ARCHITECT/LEAD to join our client in Richardson, Texas.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Drive Design and Development of Bluetooth Technology for Collaboration Endpoints.
- Provide a demonstrated leadership ability by working with a cross-functional team, leveraging technical knowledge, and leading teams to deliver next generation collaboration products.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must understand protocol, compliance, BT profiles and inner working.
- 12 plus years of industry experience
- Good working knowledge of short distance wireless communication technologies like Bluetooth, Bluetooth Profiles, Bluetooth Low Energy/BT4.0.
- Good Understanding of BlueZ, Android Bluetooth.
- Good working knowledge in Embedded Linux environment with deep exposure to debugging, analysis of complex problems.
- Good working knowledge of Android and Linux Infrastructure development
- Good understanding of peripheral interfaces such UART, SPI, SDIO, I2C, GPIO.
- Strong programming skills with C and Java languages.
- Good understanding of Software development processes like Agile and Test Driven Development
- Demonstrated system level design leadership in multiple projects.
- Perform design and write detailed design specifications, and guide the development team in the realization of the design
- Thorough understanding of software development and test processes, with active participation and results from such practices
- Independent, proactive and influential, with very good communication skills
- Great team player and quick learner with commitment to quality and dedication to long term success
- Motivated self-starter with good communication and organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to develop and deliver superior products in a cross-functional team environment under aggressive schedules.
