Analytical Software Developer

The candidate will be responsible for requirements gathering and analysis, design, development, testing and debugging of analytical, computational/mathematical programming, optimization and decision support systems. Additionally, will work with a large amount of data from diverse, complex and frequently unrelated sources and be able to develop codes and derive functions/packages to evolve rule engine using large volume of chains of data rules to create prototypes/models/tools with little or no guidance.

- Strong analytic skills
- Self-motivated to solve problems
- Candidate should be well versed and skilled in Oracle, PL/SQL and data processing.
- 5+ year experience with Oracle PL/SQL skills, very good in packages, procedures, SQL queries, Triggers, functions etc.
- UNIX Scripting, and large data process with AWK and/or C/C++ and Shell script under Unix environment are required
- Experience with large data process using Perl is a plus
- Must have used SQL Navigator/TOAD, Unix (Solaris), Oracle 11g for production-level projects
- MS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics from an ACCREDITED SCHOOL/UNIVERSITY is a must
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to interact with clients and business users
- Oracle SQL or PL/SQL Certification (desired but not required)
- Familiarity with telecom network is a plus
- Ability to take lead developer/architecture role for different systems
- Architecting applications that handle Big Data, AWK, C C plus plus
- Develop complex custom and ad-hoc reports using SQL and or PLSQL, HTML, J2EE programming, Java development, Linux
- MVC3 or MVC2, Oracle, Oracle certification, PLSQL, Python, SAS certification, Shell Scripting, SQL, SQL navigator
- Statistical mathematical and linear programming software packages
- Sun certification, TOAD, Unix, Oracle SQL & PL/SQL, Large Data Processing w/error tracking & monitoring
- Data Processing w AWK, Shell script, Data Processing w C/C++, Perl, Python, Hadoop, Unix/Linux, Analytic Skills
- MS or Ph.D. degree in Computing Sciences, Math, Computing Engineering, Information Systems, etc.
- Communication Skills (Strong verbal and written communication skills)
- MS SQL Server, MS Excel & Macro Programming
