Analytical Scientist - Small Molecules

We are recruiting for a Scientist for a very exciting position at a global pharmaceutical company in Basel on a 12 month contract basis. This is one of those rare positions that is open to PhDs with a handful of great industrial internships, and who are interestd in launching their career within industry. You will be a highly motivated scientist with technical expertise in HPLC and UV analysis as well as GMP experience. German and English are required here because the language spoken in the lab is German.

Job Description:

- Execution of high throughput analytical testing of formulated products (small molecules) under GMP.
- Adherence to quality, quantity and timelines for all assigned tasks
- Good technical knowledge of analytical techniques, in particular HPLC analysis and UV analysis
- Knowledge of Chromeleon as chromatography data system software preferred
- Support of planning of analytical testing of formulated drug products with internal and external customers
- Provide GMP documentation of raw data, evaluation and contribute to results interpretation
- Ensure GMP compliance for all GMP relevant analytical activities of assigned projects

Qualifications & Experience

. MSc or PhD in Analytical Chemistry or equivalent
. Awareness of safe handling of chemicals, potentially dangerous materials and equipment.
. Good scientific or technical knowledge of analytical science, in particular in HPLC separation and UV analysis
. Adequate knowledge of laboratory and/or technical tools
. Knowledge/Experience of Chromeleon. Good knowledge of English and German (oral and in writing)
. GMP knowledge (work history in cGMP environment)
