ANALYTICAL SCIENTIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in HUNTSVILLE, AL

*Skilled with Analytical Lab Methods
*Skilled in stability analyses on research and development drug products and testing raw materials
*Has excellent communication skills

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

*Analytical Laboratory Testing Reads and understands SOPs and follow policy, procedure and applicable government regulations, such as current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), DEA compliance, quality standards and safety requirements
*Provide analytical data in a timely manner. This includes understanding of Supervisor or Manager's expectations.
*Provide input to R&D SOPs to enhance the efficiency of the laboratory.
Keep accurate notebook records in accordance with SOPs, cGMP and current Good Documentation Practices (cGDP) requirements.
*Communicate as needed any testing issues to either a Supervisor or Manager or to a cross-functional group such as Metrology.
*Recommend to Supervisor or Manager improvement to analytical test methods or to instrumentation.
*Project Management Design assigned studies to be as efficient as possible to ensure that business milestones are met.
*Safety Ensure testing is conducted in a safe manner including but not limited to the proper PPE and ventilation.
*Any safety issue must be brought to the attention of the Supervisor or Manager ASAP.
*Quality Provide input to Investigations or participate in write-up of the investigations as needed.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

*S. or M.S. degree in chemistry, biology or related field with 2-4 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry.
*Knowledge
*Proficiency in a body of information required for the job eg knowledge of FDA regulations, GMP/GLP/GCP, Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma, etc.
*Understanding of cGMPs and cGDPs.
*Understanding of Regulatory requirements.
*Understanding of Safety requirements.
