Projektbeschreibung

SPECIFIC DUTIES

- Primary responder to customer requests to install, configure, maintain, repair, calibrate and complete preventive maintenance on multi-vendor laboratory instruments, such as pipettes, balances, incubators, plate readers, HPLCs, etc.
- Execute required administrative duties, such as: shipment of parts and assets for repair, management of spare parts (create inventory, organize, replenish stock, etc.), site equipment asset inventory, maintenance of service records, equipment manuals specifications and technical reference materials.
- Schedule, greet, escort and support vendors as required by Security Policy to achieve team objectives.
- Provide excellent customer service as required.
- Execute small projects which may include minor equipment installations, configurations, modifications, and relocations.
- Maintain elements of department documentation such as service reports, parts ordering, inventory, and PM schedules.
- Become aware of, understand, and follow all regulatory and safety requirements.
- Participate and complete all required EH&S, technical, and assigned professional training.
- Process, document, and report results of all work performed in a CMMS, or an electronic database.
- Ability to articulate processes and procedures.
- Work safely and report all potentially unsafe conditions.
- In addition to the above described duties, the incumbent may be required to perform related duties as necessary to meet current contingency and/or mission requirements.

SKILLS:

EDUCATION

- One to three years related experience in the support and calibration of equipment.
- Associates degree in Chemistry or Electronics is a plus.
- Laboratory experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industry, with demonstrated proficiency and background in use and maintenance of mass spectrometers and other analytical laboratory equipment.
- Candidates MUST have a solid mechanical aptitude, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering backgrounds, former technicians, anyone who worked in an environment that required calibrations and scheduled maintenance.
- High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
