Analytical Chemist Job

ANALYTICAL CHEMIST needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Research Triangle Park, NC.

- Analytical chemistry
- Cosmetic or pharmaceutical formulations

What You'll Be Doing:
- The responsibilities of the role will be to provide analytical chemistry expertise to the Skin Health Product Development Consumer R&D Product Development teams.
- Review analytical method validation documents for raw materials and finished products
- Tabulate and trend stability data
- Evaluate the results of raw material release testing and method transfers conducted by external companies
- Interact with external CROs to help with analytical problem solving
- Author stability protocols, stability reports, methods, method transfer protocols, change controls, and deviations

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Must have B.S. or M.S. degree or equivalent in chemistry or a chemical science.
- Seven (7) or more years of work experience in analytical chemistry is required.
- Position is under direct supervision of an analytical product development manager.
- Proven experience in bench analytical chemistry
- Proven experience in authoring/reviewing technical reports.
- Ability to manage time across multiple projects.
- Evidence of using statistical analysis tools, eg Statistica
- Must be computer literate such as proficient in Microsoft applications (eg, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with cosmetic or pharmaceutical formulations is preferred.
- An advantage will be experience with common development laboratory electronic systems such as Empower CDS, eE, etc.
