Analytic Architect/Developer

You must be able to define best practices in the use of advanced analytics and therefore you must possess the ability to understand and document business processes and influence process improvement. This is a six month contract role and possibility to extend.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Recommend analytic strategies
- Define the business processes changes, data requirements and the technical requirements of the analytic solutions.
- Conduct sophisticated data mining analyses and build data mining models.
- Translate data mining results into clear business focused deliverables
- Work with application developers to deploy data mining models into operational systems.
- Define/identify and recommend best practices for applying data mining to problem domain.
- Integrate advanced analytics into end to end Business Intelligence solutions.
- Contribute to the development of a data mining system

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

- Must have experience of 5+ years' in analytic applications/solution development.
- Strong business focus
- 5 years + using SAS Enterprise Miner or SPSS Clementine for data mining objectives
- 5+ years in data mining experience in relevant domain
- Expert use of SQL and data mining methodologies (classical regression, CHAID,CART)
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Bachelor's degree in required field required, Ph.D or M.S. Preferred.
