Analyst, Unitised Fund Services UFS (Custodian Banking)

Unitised funds experience/Analyst/Reconciliation/Audit/Fund Execution Support

The Unitised Fund Services Dept. (UFS Dept.) is made up of a Unitised Fund Reconciliation and Audit team, a Daily Dealing Fund Execution team and a Private Equity team. All have Control aspects to them as well.

This role will mainly be aligned to the UF Reconciliation and Audit team's duties and ad hoc projects but could also involve Fund Execution Support assistance duties as well

SKILLS REQUIRED

*Good oral and written communication skills are required
*Good knowledge of MS Office is required, in particular Excel
*Analytical and problem solving skills are required
*Knowledge of Unitised Funds is favourable but not essential;
*Knowledge of Accounting Practices with emphasis on accounting data interpretation and processing onto accounting platforms is favourable but not essential
*Possess excellent time management skills and have outstanding attention to detail.
*Self-motivated, adopt a pro-active approach to the requirements of the role and be flexible in occasionally working extended hours during peak volume periods

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Responsible for reconciling and auditing pooled fund market valuations for clients within stated intra month deadlines.
2.Accountability for the processing of all activity over the asset class in a timely and accurate manner and in accordance with written procedures
3.Chase 3rd parties and/or other internal partners for receipt of required documentation and information (valuation &/or transaction statements etc).
4.Assist in project related work specific to the team or department.
5.Expected to use some initiative with query resolution but refer more complex problems to supervisors/experts
6.Works effectively as a team member but also independently
