Analyst Programmer/Developer - Investment Management; Must have Strong
knowledge of SQL, particularly in Sybase or MS-SQL server environment JAVA C#
UNIX Shell Scripting experience gained in an Investment Management company or
working on similar sector applications. Degree level 2.1 or higher in Computing,
Maths, Engineering or other technical subject. At least 2 years experience in
the Investment Management (or closely related) industry. The team works on a
wide variety of business systems relating to activity across the whole
investment management business. The role may therefore give exposure to a
variety of business operations as well as a variety of technologies. It is
possible you will also be required to work in the Test or Support teams during
part of the assignment. As part of the team, you will be required to develop and
maintain in-house systems, integrate externally supplied business systems and
services with other systems in the Company. Your profile will include 5 + Years
expert developer level with all of the essential skills listed below:
Skills/Experience required - Essential: Degree level 2.1 or higher in Computing,
Maths, Engineering or other technical subject. At least 2 years experience in
the Investment Management (or closely related) industry. Strong knowledge of
SQL, particularly in Sybase or MS-SQL server environment. Strong knowledge of
Java and C#. Strong Unix Shell Scripting. You will be willing to undertake maintenance,
enhancement and integration work.
