Analyst Programmer (S40)

ANALYST PROGRAMMER WANTED!

The primary purpose of this contract is to provide application support for the MDS Minimum Data Set (MDS) system which is critical to frontline services as external non-government (NGO) providers, in addition to ADHC, use the system to report on their use of Commonwealth funding grants

The contractor position is required to assist in investigating the performance and data accuracy issues and to develop and test required fixes to stabilise the system. This will be achieved by investigation and resolution of incidents and problems as well as analysis and design confirmation and documentation resulting I assurance that the client's core business can be achieved through the accessibility and usability of their business application.

The system is built using Sybase and Powerbuilder technologies and the intent of this contract role is to assist in stabilising the MDS system, and document the system configuration and develop quality measures that provide for early identification and alerting of performance, accuracy or processing issues.

Furthermore, the position will be required to document and handover support of the MDS system to Service Delivery staff.
