Tasks:
To carry out technical system design, implementation and unit testing of an Investment Banking (Funds Management) application.
Skills:
Minimum 5 years experience in JAVA technologies. Knowledge of JavaEE platform and experience in Java Application Servers (ideally Oracle Weblogic Server or JBOSS); Experience with Oracle database, SQL and PL/SQL, EJBs, XML technologies, JMS, JPA; You should have worked in UNIX/Linux and have a basic knowledge of Korn & Shell Scripting.
Ideally some experience with RichFaces, Hibernate, EclipseLink, EJB3.0. You must have some experience in writing detailed specification documents.
Some appreciation of the financial sector, order processing, middle and Back Office, settlement. Ideally, knowledge in Back Office, Custody, Investment Funds industry etc.
Previous experience in investment banking, asset management, funds management, custody, stock exchange or an ICSD (International Centralised Securities Depositary or similar, eg. Crest, Euroclear, Clearstream, LCH Clearnet, etc) will be a big plus.
