The Information Risk Management (IRM) Programme is leading a number of projects that are designed to reduce risk to application, data and Information Technology infrastructure. These projects range in scope and complexity, but almost always impact applications and the staff that support those applications.
Priority 1 - IRM Programme - Business Analyst core tasks:
- Work with IT Team, Integrated Service Providers, Key Application Suppliers and Central IRM team to report numbers accurately (experienced in excel to perform complicated data mining and accurate reporting).
- Arrange meetings with IT teams to guide them through project data, remediation needs and track progress.
- Liaise between all stakeholders to arrange meetings if there is a need for extra in-depth technical assistance.
- Manage tracking sheet and work with the PM to provide routine updates to management and steering teams.
- Provide input into Assessment and Remediation Process. To be used to deliver training to application specialists who are not familiar with the process and Stakeholder communication.
- Maturity to work in a Global/Virtual environment and able to work without direct supervision. Tasks given are executed as promised and familiar with working at odd hours (for example evening calls) to accommodate different regions.
Priority 2 - Support on an ad hoc basis Programme Manager and Project Manager by:
- Tracking programme level progress
- General analysis reporting requests
Other Tasks
- The IRM 2.0 programme will expand into a much broader exercise during 2013 - 2015. Expectation is that BA(s) will pick up additional activities in relation to new or changed work. At all times the Programme Delivery Manager and Project Manager will make sure that specific requirements for new work are known and at least drafted to ensure BA tasks are clear.
The methodical investigation, analysis and documentation of all or part of a business in terms of business functions and processes, and the information they use. The definition of requirements for improving any aspect of the processes and systems. The creation of viable specifications in preparation for the construction of information systems.
Genric IT, Analytical thinking, Information Acquisition, Goo Oral Expression, Able to Interact well with others, Familiar with functional business models, statistical process contrlo, Information Modelling Tools, Information usage model, entity model, Familiar with Corporate Industry and Professional Standards, Familiar with presentation and report writing techniques, Broad knowledge of business functions.
Educated to degree level HBO, MCSDd Microsoft Certified Solution Developer
MANDATORY:
- Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint skills required.
- SharePoint knowledge preferred
- Strong stakeholder/change management.
- Strong business analysis skills history.
OPTIONAL:
- Compliance/assurance knowledge preferred.
- History of leading initiatives and delivering results.
- Ability to work in global environment across various time zones sometimes requiring meetings outside normal work hours to accommodate other regions.
