Analyst EDM MarkitEDM/CADIS Bloomberg MSSQL Banking Risk Performance Accounting (Netherlands)

INTRODUCTION
You have a background in Market Data within an Asset Management or Investment Banking organisation, and are experienced with for example: instruments, pricing, benchmarks, rates, analytics and curves. You also have development experience with data and reporting tools. You enjoy an intellectual challenge and can work effectively to meet deadlines. You can build solid relationships with your team and throughout a company and you are looking for a new challenge in an ambitious and international work environment.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Identification and documentation of business requirements in the area of market data, in consultation with business representatives
Work together with business analyst and architects to write functional and technical designs
Where applicable, guide development of MarkitEDM/CADIS solutions.
Write and validate test cases
Facilitate user training and provide advice on operational issues
Organise handover so that Markit EDM users and support teams have a thorough understanding of any changed or new features

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
At least 5 years of in-depth knowledge of data management processes and requirements inside asset management or sell-side firms
Knowledge and experience working with data vendors (eg Bloomberg, Markit, Factset) (MUST HAVE)
Experience with MarkitEDM/CADIS or a comparable data management suite (MUST HAVE)
Strong knowledge of SQL (the language)
MS SQL Server, Reporting Services, Analysis Services 2005/8
Data knowledge of Financial Instruments, Risk, Performance and Accounting
Preferably experienced with Asset Management processes.
Good documentation skills: writing requirements documents and functional designs, reviewing technical designs
Experience with process and Datamodelling
