ANALYST-DEVELOPER/PROGRAMMER - JAVA, HTML5, CSS, JQUERY
Context
The Council of the European Union is the third of the seven institutions of the European Union (EU) as listed in the Treaty on European Union. It is part of the essentially bicameral EU legislature, representing the executives of EU member states, the other legislative body being the European Parliament. The Council is composed of several configurations of twenty-eight national ministers (one per state).
TASKS
In the context of CODE-MAP/AGORA, the tasks of the Analyst-Developer will include, amongst others:
- Design, develop, deploy, customise and support the CODE-MAP Front Office components with a strong emphasis on development of the Presentation Layer
- Produce clear and concise (technical) documentation throughout different steps of the project's life cycle
- Closely collaborate with the architects and all members of the development team in an Agile approach
- Collaboration with IT infrastructure teams (eg System Administrators, DBA's, Network Administrators, etc.)
- Contribute to the definition of work and resource planning
Education and certifications
Minimum 4 years of education (university degree) OR Minimum 3 years of education (university degree) complemented with minimum 4 years of IT experience.
LANGUAGES, PROTOCOLS, STANDARDS AND METHODOLOGIES
Minimum 3 years of experience as Analyst-Developer (functional analysis, technical analysis, DB design, application design and development, testing, documentation, user training and support)
