FUNCTION DESCRIPTION

As an analyst programmer at a department, you participate in the development and the maintenance of Embedded software for payments.

Your contribution to the development process comprises:

- compilation of functional specifications
- in-depth analyses of the solutions
- application programming
- software validation through unit testing and compilation of integration test scenarios in collaboration with the test team
- writing technical documentation in aid of fellow programmers (internal and external) as well as writing documentation providing to end-users instructions for use of the solution
- management and guidance of developments conducted externally: task identification, follow-up, reception of deliverables, ...

Since the development teams have adopted the Agile methodology for software planning and development, knowledge of this methodology is an asset. You also draw up technical dossiers for the installation, the follow-up and support of the developed solutions by our subcontractors and/or external distributors both national and international. In this context, short trips abroad can be requested.

PROFILE

- You are familiar with Agile methodology critical
- You have a higher technical education: engineering degree or equivalent by professional experience
- You are fluent in French and/or Dutch, and in English
- You have 3 years of experience in the field of Embedded systems
- You have a thorough knowledge of the C programming language and a good insight in Python and/or Java
- You have a good knowledge of Linux as user but are also familiar with the Kernel aspects and the drivers.
- You have an analytical mind and a problem-solving attitude
- You are critical
- You like giving technical training courses
- You are familiar with technical dossiers and process improvement has no secrets for you
- You are able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- You are client-focused
