Analyst Developer - Front Office

Senior developer position for a professional developer wishing to work in a prestigious investment bank in the front office technology team.

This international bank is looking for a strong, junior developer wishing to gain further commercial exposure and an understanding of an extremely successful trading business. You will be working in their interest rate products team and will be working extensively with traders and strategists using both in-house and commercial technologies to implement and enhance critical trading systems for various trading desks. Trading systems can include risk management and position keeping, trade booking, pricing and EOD processing applications.

You will be involved in developing critical trading applications in Java, C# or the client's own in-house language; analysis through liasing with traders, salespeople, strategists, and other technology groups; and support.

You must therefore be an excellent developer with a minimum of 4 years programming experience in an OO language (e.g. Java/ C#/ C++). You will also need to be an excellent communicator - this is a business facing position.

You must be highly analytical, enthusiastic, motivated, and a team-player that is comfortable in a fast-paced work environment focussed on delivery.

You must have a 1st / 2:1 degree in an analytical subject (e.g. Computer Science, Maths, Engineering, Finance?).
