Analyst / Developer Banking £65k

Tier 1 Investment Bank looking for skilled Java developer to join their Finance IT team to focus on the build of a state of the art Accounting System.

The successful candidate will be challenged from day one - he / she will have to provide exceptional technical solutions to the business and make suggestions based on their own analysis of the business problem / the bigger picture.

Candidates must have the following to apply for the role:

At least 5 years current Core Java Development

Spring or Hibernate exposure

SQL query language on Oracle

TDD or similar

Source Control - Perforce or Clearcase

Exceptional analytical skills (you are NOT just a coder, you analyse and provide solutions!)

Some previous experience in Banking environment - Investment Bank, Hedge Fund, Asset Manager or similar
