Analyst-Developer, Analyst-Programmer .NET

For a project with the Council of the European Union we are looking for an Analyst-Developer with good knowledge of the .NET framework.

You will be working in the design, development, deployment, customization and support of Web-based applications.

Experience/expertise

Please note: all criteria below are mandatory

- Demonstrated experience as Analyst-Developer (functional analysis, technical analysis, DB design, application design and development, testing, documentation, user training and support).Min 4 years experience.
- .NET framework, ASP.NET framework, languages: Visual Basic .NET and/or C# .NET:Min 4 year experience.
- .NET framework, ASP.NET framework, 2.0 or higher: Min 3 years experience.
- NET framework, ASP.NET framework, 3.0/3.5.:Minimum 2 years experience.
- DB programming (including DB access techniques like ADO.NET):Minimum 5 years experience.
- SOAP, SOA, Web Services:Minimum 3 years experience.
- XML, XHTML, HTML, CSS.:Minimum 3 years experience
- UML or equivalent: Minimum 4 years experience
- Ajax and JavaScript:Minimum 2 years experience
- Web Accessibility Standards (WCAG): Minimum 2 years experience
- Visual Studio 2005/2008:Minimum 3 years experience
- SQLServer 2000 or higher: Minimum 5 years experience
- Oracle 9.x or higher.:Minimum 5 years experience
- MS WSS/MOSS: Minimum 2 years experience
- MS BizTalk: Minimum 2 years experience
- MS Team Foundation Server: Minimum 2 years experience

Education and certifications

- University degree (in Computer Science or relevant subject)
- Certification in technology or process (system analysis and design) related domain

Linguistic Skills

- A good knowledge of English and French is required.

Additional Relevant Profile Elements

- Knowledge about EU and its institutions is an asset.
