Analyst Developer

Analyst Developer is being sought for global retail organisation.

Tasks will include:
Building and maintaining webshop applications in the business-to-business area
Designing and implementing new features/solutions/integrations on request of the central eBusiness team
Align with the vendor in case of 3rd party applications
Implement architectural changes and do maintenance on the installed base
Discuss functional requirements and if needed provide quick and efficient proof of concepts to establish the critical business needs.
Design and implement new state of the art technology to address the needs of the business
Communicate with the central eBusiness team to align their requirements to the core platform architecture and technology stack.
Lead small to medium-sized projects to implement application changes, new releases/sprints, and/or new applications.
Level 3 and 4 support for European eBusiness platforms
Do maintenance and operations on the platforms
Monitoring the platforms and implement best practice tools used
Owning incidents and problem records until they are solved
Be able to discuss functional requirements and needs with the business and if needed provide quick and efficient proof of concepts to establish the critical business needs.
Communicate with the central eBusiness team to align their requirements to the core platform architecture and technology stack.

Technology experience required:
J2EE Programing language
.NET Programing language

Technology experience preferred:
XML and XSLT DB architecture/design in a Oracle environment
JBoss and Linux experience eBusiness processes
SQL iSeries/Linux
Clear understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with in TDD (Test Driven Development).
Experience building secure web applications, user authentication, encryption techniques
Expertise in debugging high traffic and high volume data web site to identify performance and data integrity issues.
Knowledge of SAP would be preferred
