Analyst/Defence Analyst/Intelligence Analyst (DV Clearance required)

Analyst required within the Exploitation & Threat Analysis Cell team. You will 'fuse' the technical products generated within the UK DEF, applying an analytical 'so what' value-added layer to generate products for intelligence purposes. The Analyst/Defence Analyst/Intelligence Analyst will conduct analysis and interpretation of a wide range of data and information from a range of sources, using a variety of analytical tools and techniques (including link, network, geospatial and temporal analysis).

Experience required by the Analyst/Defence Analyst/Intelligence Analyst:

-Identify the real issues from the vast amount of data/information received.
-The ability to work under pressure and have good organisational skills
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software and other analytical tools and techniques such as i2 analysts notebook and ARCGIS
-A clear communicator - both oral and written - proven to a range of audiences
-Recent experience and knowledge of the current operational situation
-The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team - including the military and police
-Proven track record of successfully working in the analysis, police and/or intelligence community

It would be desirable (but not essential) for the Analyst/Defence Analyst/Intelligence Analyst to have knowledge of one or more of the following areas: electronics, forensic science, explosives. Recent military experience Understanding of the CT & Threat domain and related stakeholder organisations.

The successful Analyst/Defence Analyst/Intelligence Analyst will enjoy an initial 8 month contract with high probability of an additional 1 year extension following.
