We are looking for an Analyst with 9 years of experience in order to work at the European Commission.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Analysis of the requirements and modeling of databases and universes
• Data analysis and data modeling, reports definitions, ad-hoc reporting setups.
• Administration of Business Objects and Business Intelligence applications.
• Monitoring of system usage, performance and optimization where deemed necessary.
• Definition and implementation of security policies for Business Objects and Business Intelligence applications.
• Provision of technical assistance to other team members and production of technical documentation
• Problem definition, analysis and resolution Business Objects and Business Intelligence applications.
REQUIREMENTS:
• In-depth knowledge of development environments and/or query tools
• Knowledge of data extraction tools (ETL like BODI/BODS) is an asset.
• Fluent in EN and a working knowledge of FR
• Quick learning ability is required as well as teamwork spirit and ability to integrate in a multilingual and multicultural environment.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
• Very good working knowledge of Business Objects and Business Intelligence.
• Good knowledge of ORACLE DB and SQL and PL/SQL programming languages.
LANGUAGES:
It will be mandatory to have a fluent ENGLISH and a working knowledge of FRENCH in order to be able to work at the European Commission.
