Analyst

The contract is with a large consultancy to be on assignment in Brussels. The client is seeking an Analyst with strong knowledge of BPMN to work in the Analysis and Testing section of the IT Unit. The Analysis team aim to provide a common functional architectural framework to all information systems.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

. Manage the design of information systems to meet identified business needs
. Participate in functional working groups and progress meetings.
. Write system functional specifications in English using UML
. Definition, elaboration and management of quality tests
. Write test cases on the basis of the functional analysis
. Execute test cases
. Write test log
. IS Quality control and evaluation
. Integrate and enhance re-usable standard components from other information systems following the application architecture strategy
. Design and deliver functional architectural documents regarding the system and components for all information systems

Required Skills:

. Strong Knowledge in Knowledge management business area
. Strong Knowledge in RUP
. Strong Knowledge in UML
. Strong Knowledge in BPMN
. Strong redaction skills
. Knowledge in SOA architecture
. Fluency in English

Mandatory requirements:

. University degree with min 6 years experience in IT or non-university degree with min 12 years exp in IT
. min 2 years exp in Project Management of information systems construction
. knowledge of project management guidelines (eg. PMBOK)
. min 2 years exp in RUP or another development process methodology
. min 1 year exp with a project management methodology (eg. Prince2)
. exp with quality procedures (eg. ISO 1006:2003)
