Analyst

The introduction of EMIR regulations, specifically Portfolio Reconciliations, has created an opportunity for a candidate with excellent administrative skills to work within our Collateral Management team with responsibility for ensuring trade portfolio's are dispatched to clients on defined dates. The candidate will also be required to assist with the resolution of breaks arising from the reconciliations liaising with internal business areas and external clients as appropriate. This will be a high volume, high impact role where the candidate will need to record all activity in order to ensure that the organisation is compliant with record keeping obligations at all times.

Key responsibilities are as follows:

* Working knowledge of FX and Derivative products particularly an understanding of understanding of key trade terms.
* Good understanding of the principles of reconciliation processes
* Excellent communication skills. The candidate will be required to communicate with both internal business areas and external clients.
* Excellent administration skills. The candidate will be required to maintain spreadsheets, send data to clients, respond to queries and ensure record keeping requirements are met at all times.
* Understanding of EMIR and Dodd Frank regulations preferred but not essential.
* Understanding of Collateral Management preferred but not essential
* Good problem solving skills. The candidate will be required to ensure discrepancies are resolved timeously liaising with colleagues/clients as appropriate.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Flexible in approach to duties and business hours
* Excellent PC skills. Prior use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook essential
