Analyst

Electrical power generation client is currently seeking a Contract Analyst responsible for the contracting of services and contracts administration / management for the Materials Acquisition / M&CS organization at the Harris Nuclear Plant in New Hill, NC. This is a 7 month CONTRACT position, with the possibility of extension. Local candidates preferred but per diem will be available for qualified candidates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead and assist with contract negotiations, actively participate in the development and interpretation of work scope, and evaluate bid invitations of major contracts in order to determine best-evaluated proposal based on quality, contractor performance, cost, and customer needs
- Work with internal customers, lead and support the preparation of RFP's, scopes of work, special conditions, and standard / non-standard terms and conditions
- Facilitate bid process, commercial and technical evaluations of contractor proposals, and provide recommendations for award

REQUIREMENTS

- Nuclear plant or nuclear industry experience
- PassPort software experience for data entry of work authorizations, contract amendments, and work release letter processing
