For a project with the European Commission we are looking for an Analyst.
INTRODUCTION
The Analyst will work in a dynamic team responsible for the development and maintenance of information systems owned by the Secretariat General.
DESCRIPTION OF TASKS
The services required relate to the analysis of user requirements and modelling of document management applications, the production of use case models, the design and analysis models, the follow up of the developments, the participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users, and the assistance in the testing, the technical documentation, the technical training, the deployment, the evaluation and the reporting of the document management applications of the SG.
DEVELOPMENT TOOLS/PLATFORMS USED
- Workstations running Windows XP and MS Office 2003 (in the future Windows 7 and Office 2010)
- Web tools & products: Eclipse, ANT, XMLSpy, SQL Developer,
- Database Server: Oracle (10g)
- Stored procedures/functions: PL/SQL
REQUIRED EXPERTISE
- UML
- RUP
- Oracle RDBMS
The candidate should be fluent in English both orally and in writing. Good linguistic skills in French are an advantage. The candidate should be able to work both independently and within a team and to build up good relationships with end users and colleagues.
A minimum of 6 YEARS of experience in Analysis is required.
