Analyst

IMMEDIATE NEED: for a Market Analyst with 2+ years Analytics experience, reporting to the Supervisor Supply Chain/Category Management. Prefer background in the Oil & Gas sector. Will also consider Analysis experience in the Industrial construction market. This is 1+ year contract assignment at our office in Northwest Wisconsin with a leading owner/operator of pipelines throughout the US. Client will consider out of state candidates and will offer per diem and mob/de-mob. APPLY NOW CLIENT WILL BE INTERVIEWING OVER the NEXT TWO WEEKS!!

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Do the research to provide a market view of key engineered materials to expose commercial risks and opportunities in identification of priority for strategic supply initiatives
- Deliver supply/demand, market forecast, spend, and other economic analysis to assist the Category Specialist, project execution teams, senior management and other business teams to mitigate risk and add value to the organization
- Key point of contact for internal demand and external demand/supply market intelligence
- Conduct regular/ad-hoc research to ensure various models/tools reflect current market information
- Maintain the Market Analytics Portal and ensure that information the key procured materials is portrayed within the Escalation, Cost Estimating models and the Project Management System accurately and reliably

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Supply Chain Management etc.with 2+ years related analytics experience. Preferred: Market Analytics experience in Oil & Gas or Industrial Construction market sectors
- Strong Analytical skills
- Experience with databases such as Oracle, J.D. Edwards, SAP, MRP, ERP, etc
- Must have very good experience using EXCEL - (proficient with pivot tables) and MS Word and Powerpoint
