ANNUAL SALARY £28,500 - £50,400

FULL TIME, FIXED TERM CONTRACT - 18 MONTHS

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the creation of the new Essex Family Solutions Service within the Schools, Children and Families (SCF) Directorate.

This Analyst role will be based within the SCF Performance Team and will have specific responsibility for supporting the establishment of the Family Solutions Service including determining its data requirements and developing and implementing its performance framework and systems in support of this. In addition to this specific responsibility the role holder will work as a member of the wider SCF Performance Team undertaking tasks in relation to other areas of the Service as and when required.

The Family Solutions Service will deliver targeted early intervention for children and families at risk of not achieving their full potential. With a strong emphasis on multi-agency working and innovation, the new teams will be developed to deliver a range of services which enable families to find sustainable solutions to improve their lives. Support will focus on increasing levels of parental employment, and reducing rates of school absences and incidences of anti-social behaviour and youth crime. Teams will be based within the heart of communities, initially across four areas of Essex. The work is part of the government's Troubled Families agenda, but is being developed in Essex as part of a wider integrated family support programme.
