IHRE AUFGABEN:

-Being the specialist for rotor dynamics / bearing systems you will work in a multidisciplinary project team
-In the day-to-day business you will evaluate the technical feasibility of rotor designs and work closely with the mechanical design engineers as well as specialists of other engineering analysis disciplines
-Your primary field of activity is the design of rotors for gas turbine component prototypes and test rigs using a variety of software programs (e.g. Dyrobes, ADORE, Cobra, ANSYS)
-Responsibility for the preparation, review and approval of technical documentation
-Presentation of results in design reviews internally and for/at the customer
-Provide technical support for purchasing as well as for rotor assembly, commissioning & testing

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:

-A university / doctoral degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
-Relevant professional experience as an Analysis engineer
-Sound knowledge of rotor dynamics and in the selection and design of bearing systems
-The ability to use hand calculations for concept design and numerical methods for later design phases
-Experience in the inspection of bearings and the assembly of rotors
-Knowledge of turbomachinery and tribology
-Professional communication in English, written and spoken
