Analog IC Designer

IC DESIGN, ASIC DESIGN, ANALOG DESIGN, ANALOG IC DESIGN - New opportunity with a global technology leader who currently seek an Analog IC Design Engineer to join there team based in the South West. You will be working with a successful High Speed Analog/ Mixed Signal IC design group. The team will operate under a fabless model, using commercial CAD tools to design into world-class CMOS and BiCMOS technologies.

The successful Analog IC Design Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
* Assist in new product definition and technology feasibility studies.
* Design of analog/ mixed signal designs
* Design performance verification of products, developing new test methods.

The ideal Analog IC Design Engineer will need to have the following experience:
* Experience of hands-on Analog/ Mixed signal circuit design.
* An expert in the field of Analog IC design with demonstrated experience in designs operating up to 100gbps.
* Proven experience in the design and layout of Analog/ Mixed signal high speed integrated circuits on advanced CMOS and/ or BiCMOS process technologies.
* Experience of Cadence Virtuoso.
* Proven experience of making high speed measurements in a development lab environment.
* An ability to work well in a team environment.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* An ability to build commitment and trust across the design team.

As well as the above skills and experience the successful Principal Analog IC Design Engineer will need to have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree (2.1 or above) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or an equivalent subject.
