Projektbeschreibung

Currently seeking a DV cleared AMPA Configuration Controller, to be based on site in Hampshire, on a 12 month contract to be confirmed by the client.

DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE ROLE AND THE TIME SCALE AND REQUIREMENTS ISSUED BY THE CLIENT, CANDIDATES HAVE BEEN ASKED TO HOLD CURRENT DEVELOPED VETTING SECURITY CLEARANCE FOR THIS ROLE.

CONFIGURATION CONTROLLER      

OVERVIEW

Provides CM administration activities for project information and configuration items.

The Configuration Controller is responsible for asset registration, storage, tracking and auditing on the Project programme.  Additionally the Configuration Controller performs activities around Hardware life cycle from initial purchase through to final destruction..

REPORTS TO:

The Configuration Management Lead.

RESPONSIBILITIES

DUTIES SPECIFIC TO THE ROLE

Configuration Controllers will perform the duties listed below: 

- Conduct CM support and administration activities in accordance with the   Project Configuration Management plans and processes
- Creates Configuration Management libraries and definitive Media library

ASSET MANAGEMENT

- Providing support to ensure all assets are appropriately registered and tracked within the project using the appropriate tools.
- Conduct asset management activities as follows:

Receiving and labelling of all equipment received tracking of all assets from initial purchase/creation through to disposal, tracking and reporting of Qty’s of equipment for billing (Customer use), control qty of phone numbers for customer payment:  (Customer use), Evidence reporting on quality of Database.

- Provide knowledge and advice on stores control on the account  
- Management of Asset disposals
- Procurement Governance

COURIER SERVICES

- Hardware courier dispatching

HARDWARE DEMONSTRATIONS

- Hardware demonstrations for training  internal staff (database)

MANAGEMENT OF QUARANTINE AREAS

- Management of Quarantine area including goods in and goods out

DOCUMENTATION CONTROL

- File incoming documents and media
- Administer filing cabinets, filing systems, data management repositories

AUDITING

- Auditing of Assets Customer sites and HP sites in accordance with project procedures
- Provide support to Internal and External Audits

COMMUNICATIONS

- All Project staff including on site engineers

PRINCIPAL OUTPUTS:

- Hardware muster reports (Auditing)
- Hardware Billing Stats
- Courier despatch and collection notes
- P&D
- Disposal Reports/certificates
- System Demonstrations (CMDB)
- Maintained library and associated records
- Controlled Quarantined area
- DLM
- Procurement Governance
