AML Monitoring Manager

Projektbeschreibung

To assist the Compliance Manager in the fulfilment of the compliance monitoring plan in relation to the requirements of the UK Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regime and the Group's money laundering deterrence policies and procedures across the bank and its subsidiaries and businesses. This will primarily be achieved by undertaking compliance reviews.

The objective of monitoring is to obtain reasonable assurance that the business is operating in line with relevant laws, regulations, codes and group standards as they relate to (AML) and Counter Terrorist Financing (CTF).

The jobholder will continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and Practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology.

Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications:
*Good understanding and experience of the Money Laundering Regulations and Joint Money Laundering Steering Group Guidance (or similar) and a broad understanding of financial crime risk concepts.
*Experience in risk based regulatory monitoring/assurance gained within the financial services industry
*Good technical knowledge of the services and products offered by the business.
*Knowledge of the internal procedures and the regulatory environment in which the business operates.
*Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
*Effective team player and ability to lead small teams.
*Good organisation and time management skills with attention to detail.
*Full driving licence desirable as role requires some business travel.
