AML Analyst

AML Analyst required for large investment banking client in London for an initial 12 month contract.

Our client requires an AML Analyst to support their team in London in delivering all elements of the regional and local controls and surveillance programme. Experience within a similar role in investment or private banking is preferable.

Main responsibilities
- conducting investigations into suspicious activity
- delivering training
- performing quality assurance reviews
- reviewing transaction alerts
- reviewing negative news alerts
- performing desk reviews
- assisting in ad hoc tasks for the wider financial crime team

Soft skills
- ability to consider problems from different angles
- strong communication skills
- ability to work under pressure
- ability to deliver messages to Front Office
