The Client:

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an individual to join one of the world's leading energy and commodities consultancies.

The Role:

The position sits within the mining and metals team and will provide an analytical opportunity for an experienced individual to contribute towards the development of the company's aluminium research products and services. The role will combine in depth macroeconomic analysis into the aluminium markets including supply, demand and price forecasting along with industry trends and events. The role will have a large amount of business development and client interaction to develop existing relationships and contribute to new business generation. In addition to developing the aluminium market analysis, the role will include managing one or more research analysts whilst managing various consulting assignments within the aluminium markets.

Key Competencies:

- Significant experience of the analysis of the aluminium sector through a research firm, Natural Resources Company or with a financial institution.
- Strong 1st Class or 2.1 degree from a top tier university is ideal. A numerate degree in Economics or Mathematics is desirable.
- Analytical mindsets with the ability to problem solve.
-A strong understanding of the aluminium sector is essential and to be able to mentor, train and develop junior analysts.
- An understanding of the needs and expectations of some of the largest exploration and production firms in the world and the ability to meet this expectation.
