Overview:

Working in the Alternatives and Fund Solutions team, you will be responsible for providing global legal support to the on-shore offices of the bank. You will negotiate the full range of fund documentation which may include trading advisory agreements, prospectuses, ancillary fund documentation, prime brokerage and trading related documentation.

You will provide regulatory analysis on a broad range of jurisdictions;

Provide support on fund launches and maintenance of the managed account platform including drafting ancillary and subscription documents, maintenance of template documents and offer general support to the team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Being responsible for drafting and negotiating derivatives based agreements with supervision.
- Acting as key point person for all stakeholders with regards to allocated workflow.
- Maintaining accurate and up to date soft and hard copy files.
- Being responsible for progressing matters, resolving negotiation deadlocks, coordinating multiple stakeholders to resolve issues and progressing matters to conclusion.
- Advising internal stakeholders on legal implications of proposed amendments to template documents.
- Ensuring negotiation deadlocks and non-receipt of documents/responses are escalated in good time to avoid unnecessary delays.
- Managing client expectations at all times especially with regard to Deutsche Bank Policy.
- Maintaining system workflow tools to provide visibility of the actual status of matters to the business at all times.
- Providing technical training to members of the team.

You will have:

- A Law Degree or other Honours Degree plus CPE and LPC qualifications.
- Proven ability to read complex legal documents with confidence and understanding.
- Considerable experience of advising on the legal implications of proposed amendments to agreements.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills.

You will be:

- A qualified solicitor (NQ to 3 years PQE) or equivalent with strong legal qualifications.
- A consistent top performer with a can do' attitude.
- Detail orientated.
- Able to work under pressure and cope with a high volume of work.
- A proven negotiator.
- A good communicator with a proven ability to convey complex legal issues.
