All Round Developer/Fullstack Developer

Currently we are looking for a All-round developer or Fullstack developer to work in Rijswijk, The Netherlands for one year plus extension. This is a fantastic contract opportunity for a large multi-national client.

The company's platform combines subsurface modelling capabilities to help teams optimize both field development and hydrocarbon recovery. In order to take the best field development decisions, we need to understand the uncertainties and represent these in the modelling process. The company supports the integrated workflows that are key for sharing knowledge between technical disciplines and jointly optimize field development plans while managing uncertainty. One of the projects in the development effort is to combine and extend two commercial software packages, such that they behave as an integrated tool, with a maximally aligned user experience.

SOFT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Effectively and enthusiastically participate in executing the work program (backlog) of the PSI team.
- Help in refining and planning relevant user stories (product backlog items), as part of the SCRUM development process
-Work effectively in a complex, large and diverse code base, using two different things to build robust software components.
-Work effectively in a medium/large SCRUM team; build effective relations with external stakeholders and tool/domain experts.

Additional Job Details Skills and competencies:
. 5+ year experience with DotNet Framework and OO programming.
. Expertise in development languages: C#/C++, Java, XML, SQL, Windows, Linux and .Net.
* Experience with database technology (MS SQL Server, MongoDB).
* Experience with GUI development frameworks (WPF, WinForms, HTML5).
. Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies (eg, Agile/SCRUM, ATDD).
. Knowledge in industry best practices in development.
. Knowledge in using and developing applicable tool sets (VSTS, GIT, TeamCity, ).
. Ability to work well with internal and external technology stakeholders and resources.
. Ability to complete complex bug fixes.
. Good oral and written communications skills.
