Essential skills - Excellent math background in the area of statistics and signal processing - Strong Statistical processing background - Development and optimization of calibration algorithms - Strong modelling capabilities (System Noise and Error, Signal reconstructions, etc) - Proven track record in innovative problem solving - Matlab Programming skills Desirable skills - LabView Programming skills - C Programming skills - Experience of medical device development - Project Management Key roles and responsibilities - Develop and optimize calibration algorithms for utilization in point-of-care diagnostics devices in accordance with relevant industry standards. - Demonstrate the confidence and capability to design identify resource, execute, analyse and communicate in-line with concept strategy. - Propose 'next steps' based on analysis outputs. - Adopt good scientific practices in all phases of the research and development process. - Develop all products in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements.
