The focus for this individual, at least short term will be AIX 5.3 TO 6.1 MIGRATIONS.

Prefer someone who can work independently.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Support problem and change tickets for Client Server support operations for work involving problem determination and implementation of changes to hardware, software, applications or network systems. -These tasks consist of the most complex and non standard work and require independent thought and problem solving to resolve.
-Work with QA and Dispatcher to resolve identified green team/QA investigations.
-Work to standardize repeatable tasks and steps across multiple accounts within a pod.
-Team members participate once or more a day in cadence discussion on team performance. They discuss issues or challenges, and receive trouble-shooting input/advice from other team members.
-They may also discuss team performance trends. Team members may also separately interact and exchange information with members of cross-pool teams.
-Act as champions of LEAN, facilitate or engage in problem solving to create a continuous improvement culture

- Active Directory
- Quest
- Win Programming
- VM Ware
- XenServer
- Intel patch management
- Security
- FAStT SAN

REQUIRED
-Minimum of 2 years experience in Systems Administration experience within any of the following operating support platforms: Windows
-Minimum of 2 years experience in at least one or more of the following: installing, troubleshooting, operating, testing, planning and configuring relevant technologies
-English: Fluent

PREFERRED
-Associate's Degree/College Diploma in Information Technology
-Basic knowledge in LEAN methodologies
-Basic knowledge in Maximo tool
-Certified in Systems Administration disciplines for an operating systems support platform
