AIX Specialist - Brussels - 8 months
AIX 5.3 NIM, HACMP, HMC, VIO, CyberArc, APAR, Issue, UserID, Shell, Korn,Bash, SUDO, KSH, Perl. pSeries Tivoli CMDB HCP/IP, DNS, LDAP, FTP
Amoria Bond are working with a Blue Chip client of our in Brussels on a AIX Migration project. On this project we require additional support from a AIX Specialist. As a AIX Specialist you will be responsible to ensure that service delivery is performed in line with the clients standards and processes with a focus on performance, capacity, supportability, cost efficiency, security and optimization of the environment within the clients guidelines. You will be expected to assist wherever needed in incidents or changes which cannot be resolved by the team.
The successful AIX Specialist will lead in crisis or task force situations should they occur. You must be able to organise a taskforce of several disciplines and lead or participate to solve crisis to a customer satisfactory situation. You will have a role as knowledge expert for the team and will seek ways to share this knowledge as well as being be able to explain crisis, situations or unknown or new tools in presentations.

*Monitoring (Nomad, ITM)
*User ID Management
*Asset Management (SESDR, CMDB)
*Incident Management (Manage Now, Maximo), Incident Resolution
*Change Management (ECM), Change Implementation
*File System Maintenance
As a experienced AIX Specialist experience in the support and maintenance of large customer environments (AIX 5.3) as well as Experience in AIX 5.3 incident & change execution would be a benefit, as would AIX 5.3.

The client means to start this project on the short term, so interview slots are already in place. This is a contract position for at least 8 months with a possibility of extension.
