For one of our clients we are looking for AIX Operator / Admin
Project Description:
Immediately support the client in the operations of their current IT environment. They have several AS400 and a number of systems running on AIX 6 / 7. This may include SAP as well as their core system (cablemaster). Administrate and maintain servers on AIX and AS400. Configure and harden the operating system. Optimize the resource consumption and usage. Continuously build up proper documentation about the environment and how-tos for the most important tasks. Build up and establish a more stable operations team / process. Mid-term: Enable the definition of an infrastructure roadmap for their systems. This includes a valid as-is analysis as well as the to-be architecture, to-be operations- and sourcing-approach.
Required Skills: AIX 6 / 7, IBM AS400
Nice to have Skills: Cablemaster
Language Abilities: German or English
