AIX Consultant - AIX, Power VM, VIO, Linux, LPAR, French Speaking
AIX Consultant required by a leading consultancy based in Luxembourg.
The role is as follows:
Power Servers in Aix 6 using Power VM/VIO (NPIV, sea, FCoE) with about 110 partitions (Oracle, WebSphere, Domino, TSM, XFB, Swift, etc).
- 60 virtual machines running RedHat Linux 5.x/6.x systems.
The projects for which the person must/can have skills are:
- Participation in work systems: Increase file system upgrade within Aix, RedHat or applications, installing third-party tools, writing KSH scripts, setting up backup, monitoring setup in Nagios, daily system maintenance, security of systems, etc...
- Participation in various projects related banking applications, web or not, migration version or platform (Aix to Linux)
- There will be no large storage of physical Servers or infrastructure project.
The skills required: Knowledge of Aix, VIO, HMC, LPAR, Linux knowledge, KSH Scripting
The consultant must be able to speak French.
