Aix Consultant
Duration: 3 Months
Location: Finland
Rate: 380 Euros per day
A leading consultancy is looking for an experienced AIX consultant to join their lively and dynamic team in Finland.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
1. Configuration and Administration of LPAR/DLPAR/VIO/IVM/HMC
Operating System
2. Awareness of ITIL-3 Process
3. Upgrade the AIX, VIOS, HACMP.
4. Creation and Administration of LPARs/DLPARs using/IVM
5. Backup and restore using mksysb/backupios
6. Operating System and VIOS Hardening
7. Knowledge of VIOS, VIOC and IVM
8. Management of AIX partitions using HMC/IVM
9. Build knowledge of atleast one cluster tecknology (HACMP/HA Geo/Veritas Cluster)
10. Advance Scripting (Bash, SED, AWK and expect)
11. Deployment of atleast one Centralised Authentication Service (NIS, LDAP)
12. Knowledge of Virtualization like SEA, NPIV, vscsi, SMT...etc
13. Troubleshooting Knowledge on HACMP or Veritas
14. Experience of Upgrading AIX 5.X to 6.1/7.1
15. Experience of upgrading VIO Servers fro, 1.X to 2.1 or 2.2
16. Knowledge of LPAR Migration for Power5 to Power6 or Power7 Servers
17. Knowledge of Storage Migration on AIX Servers: Eg, Migration of AIX data from one storage to other.
Soft skills, Process and Compliance for all levels
18. Good communication
19. Customer interaction and gathering information
20. ITIL Awareness
21. Experience of conducting Internal Technical Trainings for Team Members
