JOB TITLE: AIX ADMINISTRATOR
JOB LOCATION: GENT, BELGIUM
JOB TYPE: 3 - 6 MONTHS CONTRACT
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Responsible for the monitoring, maintenance and support of AIX and Unix Servers running business critical applications.
- Hands on experience in AIX environment
- Good experience of HACMP & Power Virtualization environment
- Experience in supporting production environment comprising of AIX operating systems on Power based hardware.
- Experience with Power5, 6, and 7 architectures, including VIO, LPARing, and HMCs technologies.
- Good experience in LVM Volume Manager.
- Management of patch clusters and update of patches - AIX systems.
- Experience with AIX performance tuning and capacity planning
- Good experience in NIM Setup & Operations.
- Should have extensive knowledge VIO and LPAR administration, troubleshooting
- Good knowledge of Redhat/Suse or any other open source applications.
